I believe in a person-centered, integrative, strengths-based, trauma-informed, bio-psychosocial approach, looking through a social justice lens. Regardless of your story, it is your own and as such you are the expert. My role is to help assist you along the journey by helping to facilitate a deeper understanding of who you are, how you got there, while reminding you of the importance of self-compassion and self-care along the way. Together we can explore family and personal patterns, acknowledge and validate any trauma, help to create a solid understanding of who you are and why, and to help facilitate any changes that you want to make along the way. 

Picking a therapist is an extremely personal and important decision. Our stories can be hard and even harder to share. Sharing them requires an extreme amount of trust and vulnerability. Please know that is a responsibility that I take very seriously, and you can rest assured that I can provide you with a safe, all-inclusive, non-judgemental environment in which to share. 

I have a degree of Master’s of Art in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University. I have spent 2 years in infant and early childhood mental health, working with infants, toddlers, school-based children, preteens, and their families, and young adults navigating parenthood. I have worked with all kinds of family structures and from all walks of life, to help support stronger families by increasing communication, understanding, and helping to build resiliency. I have experience and special interests in working with children with Autism, ADHD, and their families, those recovering from trauma, women navigating divorce, life-changing events, healing from relationships, and grief. I am currently; licensed as an LMHCA a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate operating under clinical supervision.
